Privacy policy

Sironka Briquettes (“Sironka”, “we”, “us”) makes and sells briquettes in Kenya. You can reach us at P.O. Box 1582, Ruiru, 00232, Kenya, on +254 119 478 849, or at sironka.briquettesenterprise@gmail.com.

We collect the information you choose to send us when you order or ask a question: usually your name, your organisation (for bulk orders), your phone number, your delivery location, and the details of what you want to buy.

This website has no customer accounts, and we do not take payments on it.

The order buttons and the bulk order form do not send anything to us directly. They open WhatsApp with a message already written for you, and nothing reaches us until you press send in WhatsApp.

Once you send a message, it passes through WhatsApp, which is run by Meta. Meta’s own privacy policy applies to how WhatsApp handles your messages.

We use it to reply to you, confirm your order and price, arrange delivery, and keep a record of orders we have fulfilled. We do not use it for anything unrelated, and we do not sell it.

We share your name, phone number and delivery location only with the people who deliver your order, and only as far as is needed to get it to you. We may also share information if the law requires us to.

We keep order records for as long as we need them to handle your order, answer questions about it, and meet our own record-keeping duties. After that we delete them or remove the personal details.

Under Kenya’s Data Protection Act, 2019, you can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, and object to how we use it. To do any of these, contact us using the details above and we will respond as soon as we can.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you also have the right to complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner (odpc.go.ke).

If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
